Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do• Greet visitors, answer plant phone line, and represent the first impression of CMC• Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as processing employee data changes• Process weekly payroll and serve as main point of contact for Kronos issues or concerns• Assist HR Manager in facilitating a seamless new hire onboarding experience including pre-employment and orientation activities• Assist with scheduling full-time interviews and sourcing candidates for hard to fill positions• Understand and educate employees on CMC benefits, including support of the new hire and annual enrollment process• Assist with plant wide communication through Microsoft Outlook and formatting Power Point slides• Manage uniform orders, halts, and invoicing• Maintain mail station, break area and conference rooms to include housekeeping and ordering supplies• Assist in planning company events and community involvement opportunities• Identify and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager and participate in development of the proper response to such issues• Other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need• High integrity and confidentiality required• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel• Professional communication skills required, both written and verbal• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment• Responsive nature with strong sense of urgency to handle matters quickly• Use independent judgment and discretion in prioritizing and managing situationsYour Education• Bachelor's degree requiredWe are Commercial Metals Company, a Fortune 500 company with a family feel that’s already part of your life.
