Build new and maintain existing relationships with State Highway Agencies and Mass Transit Authorities to solve earthwork construction problems. You’ll focus on executing business development plans and communicating the value of Tensar’s engineering services and systems. You’ll be responsible for successfully implementing bid strategies while educating and providing technical support to distributors.What You'll Do• Assist and support the qualification of Tesnar proprietary systems by successfully implementing bid strategies to close business• Act as a liaison between Tensar' s engineering department and the client to maximize efficiency and effectiveness• Develop & execute a business development plan focused on State Highway Agencies, Mass Transit Authorities, major municipalities, and the Corps of Engineers• Generate monthly reports to the Area Sales Manager to track key projects in each sector and forecast sales for manufacturing• Train, educate, and provide technical support to distributors and provide job site assistance as requiredWhat You'll Need• Ability to travel regionally between 25% to 50% of the time• Minimum 2 years work experience in the construction industry• 2 or more years of sales experience required• Ability to work independently and with a team, detail oriented, interpersonal and negotiation skills and customer relations abilities• Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills by performing multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritizing work assignments• Ability to navigate in a matrixed organization• Leader with a sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the projects assigned and the overall company goals.Your Education• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience preferredWe are Commercial Metals Company, a Fortune 500 company with a family feel that’s already part of your life.
