Job Title: CNC Programmer

Salary: $28+ per hour

Job Description:

As a CNC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by programming and operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precise components. Your expertise will ensure the efficient and accurate operation of our equipment, meeting the specifications and quality standards of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop CNC programs based on engineering drawings, specifications, and job requirements.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are used.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify the accuracy and precision of machined parts.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of programming, setup, and production data.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming CNC machines using G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, or similar).
• Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and best practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with various machining tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
• Solid knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
