Your role will be instrumental in building and innovating our core platforms to ensure they are scalable, secure, and efficient, delivering impactful and industry-leading products to our customers. With a people-focused approach, you’ll lead and mentor a team of product managers, engineers, and designers to define and execute the roadmap, ensuring our core platform supports current and future business needs. Your work will directly enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and overall business growth.Responsibilities• Vision and Strategy: Develop and drive the strategic vision for our core insurance platform to support the dynamic needs of our cyber insurance products.• Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and guide a team of product managers, creating a collaborative and innovative environment.• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to translate strategic goals into product features and improvements.• Roadmap Development: Define and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, customer feedback, and technical feasibility.• User Advocacy: Champion the needs of our policyholders, brokers, and internal users by deeply understanding their pain points and requirements.• Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to inform product decisions. Analyze product metrics to assess feature performance, making adjustments as necessary.• Innovation: Drive platform innovation through emerging technologies, automation, and user feedback to maintain a leading edge in the cyber insurance market.• Compliance and Security: Ensure that all platform initiatives comply with industry regulations and security standards.• Stakeholder Management: Communicate product vision, progress, and success metrics to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.• Scalability: Ensure our core platform is scalable and robust to handle rapid growth and expansion into new markets.Skills and Qualifications• Experience: 7+ years of experience in building software products, with a strong background in SaaS or Fintech environments.• Leadership: Proven experience in building, leading, and mentoring high-performing product teams.• Technical Acumen: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders across different areas of the business.• Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to balance short-term and long-term development needs, and align product strategy with company goals.• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences.• Results-Oriented: Track record of taking ideas from concept to reality, delivering measurable results for customers and the business.• Flexibility: Comfortable with rapid company growth and the associated need for adaptability and agile thinking.• Customer Focus: Passion for understanding user needs and delivering solutions that thrill users and improve retention.• Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and making data-informed decisions.Bonus Points• Industry Experience: Experience in the insurance industry or working with regulated financial products.• Enterprise Systems: Familiarity with enterprise systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or building tools for internal users.• Advanced Technologies: Experience with automation, machine learning, or other advanced technologies to drive platform innovation.• CompensationOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $150,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location.
