Team/ Role Paragraph Institutional Operations Solutions are responsible for the day to day operations and support of Coinbase’s suite of Institutional Products and Services. We are focused on managing risk and building scale in operations processes as well as providing exceptional customer service to our Institutional clients. You will be a leader in the organization who will partner with a variety of cross functional partners, such as product, engineering, sales and trading to set strategy and drive execution to meet the Institutional groups key business objectives. What You’ll Be Doing (ie. Job Duties) • Be a proactive thought leader in Institutional Operations Solutions, with the ability to set and drive organizational strategy and direction, with a bias towards action • Develop and maintain relationships with senior functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with and achievement of, company objectives • Oversee, implement and continuously enhance the risk management framework, controls, policies and monitoring capabilities to ensure the protection of customers and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations • Define and execute the client service strategy to ensure best in class support and maximize retention/growth • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities to continually enhance client experience, risk management and scale • Run towards and take accountability for complex issues within and beyond organizational boundaries; act as escalation point for senior leadership concerns • Build and leverage data analytics and reporting to support strategic decisions and execution • Develop deep technical subject matter expertise across all institutional products and services • Utilize knowledge of the crypto market and operations to solve complex challenges in a dynamic environment • Build a culture of excellence with a highly engaged organization, maximizing team performance and setting up opportunities for career development and growth What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): . • Motivated by Coinbase’s mission, crypto and delivering an exceptional Institutional product to our customers • Minimum of 5 years of direct management experience • Experience in setting strategic vision, influencing senior stakeholders and executing efficiently • Experience managing operations processes and serving institutional clients in a traditional brokerage, asset management, or trading context; or experience serving crypto-first investors. • Excellent track record of managing deeply engaged and high performing teams • Highly flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of a high-growth, fast paced organization • Travel requirements up to 15% to Coinbase offices and client locations, based on needs Nice To Haves • Deep subject matter expertise and experience in crypto and financial services, ideally in operations inclusive of client service and risk management • Advanced experience in project management and data analytics • Advanced degree in business, finance and/or blockchain • Advanced understanding of Google apps, JIRA, Salesforce Service Cloud P57682 Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus target equity benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
