Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Institutional - Markets, Verified Pools)

Overview:Remodeling Company is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to perform a comprehensive audit of our current website, which was migrated in November of last year and then again last month to WPEngine.Since the migration in Nov, we have experienced a significant drop in organic traffic, and we are looking for an expert to identify the causes and provide actionable solutions.This role involves auditing the work of past agencies, developing a formal audit and action plan, and collaborating with our internal team to implement the necessary changes.Responsibilities:Audit & Analysis: Conduct a thorough audit of the SEO work performed by previous agencies. Analyze the migration's impact on organic traffic and identify the root causes of the traffic drop.Formal Audit & Action Plan: Provide a detailed formal audit report that outlines the issues found, along with a prioritized action plan to address these issues.Training & Knowledge Transfer: Teach our current PPC and in-house marketing personnel on SEO best practices, ensuring they understand the audit findings and recommended actions.Ongoing Consulting: Collaborate with our team for 2-3 months to provide ongoing consulting, guiding the implementation of the action plan, and advising on the order of fixes. This may involve fixing these problems yourself for time sake.Reporting: Regularly report on progress and results, ensuring that everyone is informed and that the action plan is executed effectively.Qualifications:Proven experience in SEO, particularly with website migrations and recovery from traffic drops.Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex SEO issues and provide clear, actionable recommendations.Experience auditing the work of previous agencies and creating formal audit reports.Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to train and collaborate with non-SEO professionals.Ability to commit to a 2-3 month consulting period, with availability for ongoing communication and support.Preferred Experience:Experience with website migrations and traffic recovery.Background in working with PPC and in-house marketing teams.Familiarity with the home remodeling or similar industries is a plus.
