Position Overview:

We are seeking atalented graphic designer to join our dynamic team! Sittingon the Teacher Education Ecosystem, the Graphic Designer will create visually stunning digital and print designs that effectively communicate our brand and engage various education audiences. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, this role plays a crucial part in our marketing and sales enablement efforts — helping attract educators, inspire applications, and drive enrollment. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their creativity, attention to detail, and ability to deliver exceptional design solutions across various mediums. Design experience within education or edtech (K-12 or higher ed) is preferred but not required, and video editing experience is a plus. • Conceptualize and design a wide variety of content — including guides, white papers, infographics, sales sheets, presentations, flyers, and postcards — that inspires and informs educators, school districts, and partner organizations. 
• Create and help optimize compelling digital assets, such as webpages, graphics, social media content, email templates, landing pages, and online ads. 
• Design a variety of print collateral for events, in-person visits, and direct mail campaigns. 
• Develop a deep understanding of our various audiences and their needs, keeping those aspects top of mind throughout the design process. 
• Collaborate within and across teams to brainstorm, understand project requirements and translate them into visually compelling designs, and gather feedback from key stakeholders.  
• Follow brand guidelines and ensure consistency in brand identity across all designs.  
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality of design work. 
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality. 

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field is preferred, but applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
• 4+ years of relevant graphic design experience, preferably as part of a content marketing team or in an agency environment.  
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software. 
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and visual hierarchy.  
• Exceptional design experience with a portfolio highlighting various content types, including digital and print content.  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas effectively.  
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and accuracy.  
• Self-starter with strong organizational, leadership, and time-management skills to successfully handle multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously 
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus.  
• Background in education (teaching or edtech, K-12 or higher ed space) is helpful, but not required.
