The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is currently seeking Cook to be responsible for coordinating all facets of the kitchen and meal preparation in a brand-new facility and program! This position ensures that all nutritional needs for the residents are met as well as ensuring that all Health Department and other external requirements are followed. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for food preparation who wants to make a daily impact supporting some of Denver’s most vulnerable neighbors. This position is located at our new Recuperative Care Center, 2175 California St., Denver, Colorado 80205 and reports to the Food Services Manager.
