Location: Malta + Hybrid

The Legal Counsel will be part of a team supporting the business with its legal requirements. The role involves advising on a variety of corporate, commercial, employment and regulatory matters and requires a strong knowledge of corporate, commercial and contract law. Responsibilities:

  • Advising and assisting on corporate law matters and multifaceted transaction dealings
  • Drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts within a multi-jurisdictional scope
  • Advising marketing, customer services and technology departments with regard to legal requirements that apply to the content in advertising, promotions, competitions, electronic marketing, data capture, data processing and customer research and analysis
  • Researching multi-national regulatory regimes and risk management mechanisms
  • Maintenance of good corporate governance together with the corporate team
  • Providing effective legal advice and support across the business
  • Generally ensuring business needs meet legal obligations
  • Drafting, updating and maintaining internal policies along with other stakeholders
  • Help, assist and participate in the completion of the ISO27001 or other Information Security Standards implementation and future ongoing recertifications
  • Other Ad-hoc duties

About You:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience with significant corporate dealings data protection and contract law experience
  • Knowledge of IP law and experience in IP strategy implementation will be considered and asset
  • Prior I-Gaming experience would be an asset
  • Keen eye for detail oriented and strong organisation skills
  • Strive for efficiency and takes ownership of work assigned
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritisation and following through on numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to autonomously but also a great team player
  • Positive mindset and can-do attitude
  • Creative and out-of-the box thinking
