We are looking for a Community & Social Media Lead to help drive and manage our community and social strategy. Externally, core focus areas include social and community management across enterprise segments, healthcare, the public sector and developers. The role will build strong relationships with key audiences across Magic Leap's social footprint and communities. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success developing, managing and executing social strategy within the B2B technology space while building and establishing relationships across communities. The role also requires someone who has experience supporting and helping to guide community engagement and management online and offline.
Responsibilities:
Support social strategy development and execution across social strategy
Support global, regional, and national media campaigns that generate significant coverage across company milestones, launches, and developments
Manage Social Media accounts on behalf of Magic Leap (prior social media experience is a must)
Design and drive purposeful and strategic social and community marketing campaigns
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders with a specific focus on a global, integrated communications strategy that translate over to social and community efforts
Establish and uphold social and community guidelines internally at Magic Leap and externally with partners
Collaborate with key partners and internal teams to effectively execute activations
Leverage digital tools for analytics, reporting and overall performance metrics across social media activities
Work closely with the product, content and engineering teams, as well as other internal stakeholders to refine social content, social KPIs and community engagement and support models
Identify opportunistic and experimental digital brand and awareness collaborations that can be activated through social paid media campaigns, including refinement of targeting and placement
Qualifications:
3+ years experience deploying social media and community management for a corporate brand
Track record of creating and implementing social and community strategies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience managing multiple social accounts, channels and communities
Experience across social media tools (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc.)
Agency experience is a plus
AR/VR experience (preferred)
Education:
BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Communications or related field
