Flipboard is the world's first social magazine, designed to inform and inspire the world. Available on web, iOS, and Android, Flipboard offers the world important and influential articles, videos, podcasts and products shared by the greatest publishers and our vibrant Flipboard community to advance conversation, keep people informed, and inspire them to engage, learn, and lead.
As our community manager, you'll have the opportunity to co-create the role together with others on our communications team, act as the voice of our brand, and drive Flipboard's social media strategy to increase engagement. In this role, you will develop strong relationships with community members and influencers, with a special focus on food, photography, technology, travel and personal finance.

- Develop community strategy based company vision and goals.
- Shape Flipboard's presence on established and emerging social channels to grow our audience, drive engagement and build brand awareness.
- Empower and connect with community members about Flipboard, including product tutorials, webinars, blog posts, and social media.
- Moderate and positively foster productive conversations on various platforms.
- Support broader editorial, marketing and partnership initiatives.
- Develop engaging and educational content, including copy for posts, images, gifs and videos for social channels.
- Stay up-to-date on industry and cultural trends and develop creative ways to plug into them.
- Measure success. Regularly track, analyze, and report on the performance of campaigns, content, and overall program health.
- Present ideas, programs and analysis in team and company meetings.
- 7 years experience in a community management role, including a track record with social media marketing and content creation, as well as the organization of events, webinars and user programs.
- A people person, focused on building positive relationships and outstanding customer service.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with immaculate attention to detail.
- Creative, self-starting, goal-oriented.
- Outstanding project management skills and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to use data for monitoring, measurement and development of creative solutions.
- Familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, TweetDeck, Google Analytics etc.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
