🌟 About the role


As Head of Finance, you'll be the financial architect of our scaling journey, leveraging your expertise to establish the financial infrastructure and cadence that supports our growth and scales with us. This role goes beyond traditional finance - you'll be a key strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, providing the financial insights and operational rigor needed to fuel our ambitious plans. You will have the responsibility of supervising and managing all financial functions of the organization, which include accounting, financial planning and analysis, and tax. 



The ideal candidate will offer strategic financial guidance to facilitate the company's expansion and secure its long-term prosperity.


🚀 You will...


  • Develop and implement robust financial systems, processes, and KPIs to provide real-time insights into financial performance, efficiency, and health.


  • Own the P&L, translating business strategy into comprehensive financial plans that support growth and scalability.


  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, providing thoughtful recommendations to strengthen the financial health of the company.


  • Drive strategy through financial insights, analysis, and collaboration with leadership, ensuring alignment across functions.


  • Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling to support strategic objectives.


  • Manage General & Administrative (G&A) functions, including HR, compliance, partnership with outside legal counsel, and back-office operations such as inventory logistics, to ensure efficient and compliant operations.


  • Oversee accounting functions, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, regulations, and tax laws across multiple jurisdictions, including telecommunications requirements.


  • Manage banking relationships, cash position, working capital, and external vendors to maintain financial stability and liquidity.


  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including burn rate, proactively addressing variances and ensuring financial sustainability.


  • Drive COGS reduction initiatives through strategic contract management, financial controls, and identification of cost-saving opportunitieschallenging existing assumptions.


  • Analyze and monitor unit economics, focusing on acquisition costs and sales efficiency to ensure continual operational improvements.


  • Establish a structured finance cadence, delivering key metrics such as retention, growth, and acquisition costs by segment.


  • Provide clear visibility into company valuation and investor perception, aligning internal performance metrics with strategic growth targets.


  • Communicate financial data, results, and insights effectively to the leadership team, ensuring clarity and actionable intelligence.


🏆 You are...


  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles within high-growth, early-stage startups, ideally in the tech sector.


  • Proven track record of scaling financial operations from early-stage to $100M+ revenue, including accounting, FP&A, and cash management.


  • Deep expertise in SaaS/subscription business models, unit economics, and cost management, with the ability to create efficiencies and improve gross margins.


  • Experience managing finances for startups experiencing rapid growth (e.g., tripling in 8-digit revenue year-over-year) and understanding the strategic implications of cash-flow positivity and growth-focused spending.


  • Hands-on experience in setting up financial systems and infrastructure, including month-end reporting, preparing financial statements, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions.


  • Skilled in navigating complex regulatory environments; experience in regulated industries, such as telecommunications, is a plus.


  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic financial initiatives, including fundraising, tax registration, and other strategic transactions.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership.


  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present financial information in a concise and impactful manner.


  • CPA or MBA preferred

💸 Compensation


Our range of total compensation for this position is between $200K-$220K + equity. Total compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include (but are not limited to) job-related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location.
