Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates equipment maintenance, calibration and qualifications.
• Performs product evaluations, investigation and device history reviews, analyzes various qualities of lenses rejected by clients/customers for complaints.
• Corresponds with Global Affiliates to ensure product return processes are adhered to and product evaluation standards are aligned.
• Conducts training to test method and product evaluations as required.
• Issues request to Engineering, Technical Services, Distribution, QA Chemistry, Manufacturing, Secondary Packaging and Ireland to further evaluate and/or investigate complaints.
• Participates in related projects assigned by management e.g. CHS Requirements, Change Requests, supports metrics and conducts SOP updates.

Qualifications

Education:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• A minimum of two (2) years of laboratory and/or manufacturing work experience
• Work experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry
• Equipment calibration, validation and maintenance experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred:

• PC knowledge to include Microsoft office, COGNOS, MES, LIMS, eDHR, among others.
• Laboratory / Parameter testing certification(s)
