Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress
- Provide wound care, injections, and other nursing interventions
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures
- Maintain accurate and updated medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols
- Serve as an advocate for patients and promote their rights and wellbeing
- Stay updated on the latest nursing practices, advancements, and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid California RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse
- Bachelors or Associate degree in nursing from an accredited institution
- Proven ability to provide quality patient care and utilize critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of nursing principles, practices, and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
