About the Role
We are looking for a Front-End Engineer to join our development team. This individual will play a critical role in building smooth, modern, and customer-facing applications to fulfill our mission to increase worker safety and save lives. The ideal candidate should be hands-on and proficient in React, Material.io for styling, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. They should also be familiar with AWS app deployment and have some knowledge of API design and contracts. Experience with code reviews and working with overseas teams is essential.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive, and performant front-end code.
Use React, Material.io, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS to build and style applications.
Participate in the deployment of applications on AWS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
Participate in API design and ensure proper integration of front-end with back-end services.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior front-end developers.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve any browser-specific issues.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development.
Required Experience
BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in front-end development.
Proficiency in React, Material.io, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
Familiarity with AWS app deployment.
Working knowledge of API design and integration.
Familiarity with Figma for UI design is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment with offshore teams.

Compensation: CompScience is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $112,000 – $160,000. Compensation is determined within the range based on your qualifications and experience. Our total compensation package also includes equity and comprehensive benefits.
