We need engaged, tenacious, and intensely curious technicians driven to solve the toughest smart phone and electronic device mishaps and malfunctions. If that’s you, we invite you to help us build our company in Monterey, Santa Cruz and Hollister Counties. We’re looking to fill both full and part time positions immediately.
CPR intends to bring a new level of service and problem-solving expertise to Salinas and Hollister consumers. Our technicians are constantly trained in the most up-to-date repair techniques and pride themselves on providing fast, professional repair services. In addition to phones and tablets, we fix laptops, gaming system, mp3 players, and other personal electronics, bringing relief and peace of mind to the customers who depend on them. We also stock and sell professionally refurbished phones, tablets and personal electronic devices. CPR is committed to environmentally friendly business practices by providing a green solution for electronic waste, and gladly accepts all unwanted electronic devices into its safe recycling program.

Essential Functions
· Perform functional tests to triage damaged devices and diagnose failures
· Disassemble, test, and replace defective components
· Test and reclaim individual components and external housings for OEM parts
· Accurately document repair codes and parts information on certain repair documents and in computer tracking system
· Read and translate repair documents
· Identify potential areas for improvement of internal processes and procedures
· Interact with customers as needed; deliver stellar service and sales support
Essential Functions (continued)
· Take responsibility for own ongoing education, complete company-sponsored technical certifications, and contribute new findings and techniques to company knowledge base when appropriate
· Coach and train junior techs as needed
· Monitor parts inventory and help trigger reorders
· Keep work area clean and sterile
· Cheerfully perform other duties as required by management
· Positively contribute to an upbeat, collaborative and pleasant work environment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Works within a progressive repair environment and managed time constraints
· Strong customer service skills and consumer self-awareness
· Sensitive to customer privacy and mindful of the trust customers place in CPR to handle their data and devices with extreme discretion
· Teamwork and services minded
· Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Effective communications with other team members and customers
· Must be self-directed with ability learn and execute new processes quickly
· Good computer skills, experience with Windows based software
· Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
· Vision capabilities to focus on small, intricate parts for extended periods of time
· Must be able to work weekends
Education and Experience
· Associates degree or GED/equivalent certification required
· Technical certifications (soldering, electronic assembly, etc.) a plus
· 1-3 years direct experience in cell phone, electronic device repair or sales
· Experience using precision tools and instruments
· Familiarity with Cell Phone technologies and features
· Retail and point of sales operations experience a plus
