Responsibilities:

The Computer Support Intern will provide hardware and software support for employees’ Laptops/PC’s and provide support for software installation and other types of office technology. We are looking for someone to work 40 hours per week in our Chattanooga, TN Office.

Responsibilities:

Setup and installation of PC's and monitors for end users
Perform swaps of PC's for users (including imaging, setup, data transfer, and setup at desk)
Troubleshoot computer and other office technology related hardware and software problems while offering technical support and guidance to users, in person or remotely
Collaborate with other office technology and computing systems support groups to restore service and/or identify problems.
Setup and support a wide variety of Video Conference and Internet Collaboration meeting
Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution
Utilize and maintain ticketing and task management tools

Qualifications:

We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.

Essential skills and experience:

Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, cyber security, risk management or another related field
Self-motivated with a passion for learning and problem solving
Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience working with PC hardware and software
Good working knowledge of desktop and laptop computer hardware components, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft Office
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of general applications
Basic knowledge of Video Conferencing and Collaboration Systems is a plus
Good verbal communication and customer service skills
Ability to maintain regular attendance and timeliness
Ability to follow established guidelines, be organized and see tasks through to completion
Must be self-motivated, capable of multitasking, have good time management skills and be able to work well in a team environment
Must be able to lift and carry up to forty (40) pounds (e.g. computer, monitor, misc equipment etc.)
