Description & Requirements

The Computer Technician will work with a team in a manufacturing environment producing, repairing, and refurbishing Point of Sale (POS) equipment. Position requires attention to detail, solving and diagnosis hardware, software and network problems on Windows and Linux platforms.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

Configuring and repairing Point of Sales, Kiosk, Tablets, Printers, Scanners, and various peripherals
Troubleshooting customers networks
Creating, testing, and running ad hoc software scripts
Mentoring customers on the use and basic troubleshooting of the hardware systems installed at customer sites
Working with several third-party teams
Electrical assembly

Required skills:

Experience with computer technology
Experience repairing Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) to the component level
Experience installing, configuring, and testing equipment
Familiarity of Microsoft products including WIN10, SQL, and server
Customer service experience
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future
Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

CompTIA A+ Certification
Technical post secondary degree/diploma
Component level troubleshooting
