Responsibilities:
The OHH Concierge greets patients and family members in a professional, courteous, friendly manner as they arrive. Assists or directs patients/family members to appropriate area based on needs. Demonstrates knowledge of special needs and behaviors of specific age groups. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient needs.

Demonstrates the ability to handle difficult situations in a diplomatic manner. (Must be able to determine where the patients need to be, even when they are not on the hospital’s schedule by using information in the computer system or by placing appropriate phone calls until the situation can be resolved.)

Checks in new patients, record any pertinent information and explain the pager system to the patient and family

Locates assigned bed with Flexible inquiry, which also entails locating patients that are not in system by calling different areas until patient is located
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Previous customer service experience; preferably in a medical setting.
Working Knowledge: Requires excellent communication skills along with good organizational skills
