Overview:The administrative team assists the leaders in ensuring that the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center meets regulatory and accreditation standards. They also keep a close eye on the quality metrics and provide suggestions for program improvement.Responsibilities:Expertly Maintains Compliance with Accreditation & Regulatory Guidelines: Possesses a thorough understanding of regulatory and accreditation guidelines and serves as an expert resource for leaders and teams responsible for maintaining compliance. Leads an annual review and gap analysis of guidelines, presenting findings and status updates to upper management.Oversees Quality Assurance and Process Improvement for Inpatient Rehabilitation: The role involves overseeing Quality Assurance Process Improvement (QAPI) for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program, ensuring the Center achieves quality objectives. Additionally, keeping abreast of rehabilitation quality measures, and becoming a subject matter expert in the field.Acts as a Backup for Prospective Payment Specialist Position: Takes on the responsibilities of PPS Coordinator when they are unavailable and ensures their skills are up-to-date on a consistent basis.Qualifications:Required:• Bachelors in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Masters in Speech Language Pathology.EXPERIENCE:Required:• Three to five years of recent direct patient care experience in an IP Rehab setting. 1 to 3 years experience leading teams and/or managing projects.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDRN, PT, OT, or SLP licensureBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare ProviderPREFERRED
