Coney Island Prep is seeking a passionate High School Special Education Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must have experience in Special Education and a strong background in math to foster student growth.

Responsibilities

Internalize standards-aligned curriculum
Manage student caseload and prepare IEP meetings
Develop and track IEP goals for students
Co-teach and lead classroom instruction
Implement Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions
Communicate effectively with scholars and families
Create a positive and structured learning environment

Education

Bachelor's degree required
NYS teaching certification required
Master’s degree in Special Education preferred
