Position Highlights

We are currently in search of a Conference and Events Assistant to join our team. We organize approximately 2,500 events each year for the University of Arizona campus community. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing event setups for various campus events. Duties include equipment setup and breakdown, driving trucks, and providing exceptional customer service.

The perfect candidate should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be open to working overtime, including nights and weekends. Physical demands include regularly lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. We're excited to welcome someone enthusiastic about contributing to our dynamic team’s success and campus events.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Sets up and breaks down equipment for special events
  • Moves furniture and equipment
  • Drives trucks and operates lift gates

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Lifting ability up to 50lbs
  • Team oriented and excellent customer service skills

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with events
  • Experience in University setting
