The CDO will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer to ensure that these strategies are integrated into the organization's overall strategic plan. Responsibilities include partnering with the leadership team, physicians, staff, and other key stakeholders to build a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion program. The successful candidate will be the senior leader in this area, overseeing efforts in diversity pipeline and recruitment, employee retention and engagement, cultural competence and education, AA/EEO compliance, patient care disparities, health equity, and community advocacy. They will also be responsible for monitoring the success of these initiatives through the development of programs and dashboards.The ideal candidate for the Chief Diversity Officer position at the company will have a proven track record in diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership. They should be adept at coordinating efforts to develop and implement a strategic plan in alignment with the organization's goals. Areas of expertise should include workplace culture, diversity recruitment, and retention, as well as a strong understanding of cultural competence in a healthcare setting. The CDO will be expected to have experience in AA/EEO compliance, and a deep commitment to addressing patient care disparities, health equity, and community advocacy.
