Chief Revenue Officer - Food Manufacturing Experience

Chief Revenue OfficerThis role is remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. Salary range is between $375,00 - $400,000 plus bonus and equity.Reporting to the President, the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for leadership and strategy development of revenue generation efforts within the company, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and the effective execution of revenue-generating strategies. As Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and enhancing profitability across all business units. The position focuses on growing revenues through strategic planning, product development and strategic partnerships. Together with other members of the executive team, you will execute the current corporate strategic plan, focusing on expansion to new customer segments and revenue streams.Responsibilities:• Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy that aligns with the Company’s overall goals and objectives. Identify new revenue streams, evaluate market opportunities, and drive revenue growth through innovative deal structuring, identifying new business opportunities, evaluating potential partnerships, and formulating long-term plans.• Create, implement, and continually refine go-to-market strategies, as we continue to expand and improve our product offerings.• Oversee the negotiation and closing of high-value deals.• Evaluate the financial feasibility and viability of potential business opportunities. Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, revenue projections, and risk assessments to inform the decision-making team.• Develop and communicate growth strategies with CEO, President, and Board of Directors.• Explore and critically evaluate markets where we can disrupt existing competition.• Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for seasonality and sustainable growth.• Perform risk analysis to identify potential challenges to the company’s profitability.• Lead and manage the Product Development and Commercialization teams, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to drive exceptional performance. Set ambitious sales targets, monitor progress, and implement strategies to maximize sales effectiveness. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment between sales goals and Multiplier's objectives.• Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key clients ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, understand their needs, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations.• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape within the Food Manufacturing industry. Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify opportunities for growth and maintain Multiplier's competitive edge. Use insights to refine the revenue strategy and enhance sales effectiveness.• Develop accurate revenue forecasts and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress towards revenue targets. Provide regular reports and presentations to the executive team, highlighting revenue trends, opportunities, and challenges. Make data-driven recommendations to optimize revenue generation.• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment and drive integrated revenue-generating initiatives. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization.Skills and Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a plus.• Minimum twenty (20) years’ experience in revenue generation role either as the Chief Revenue Officer or Chief Executive Officer of a fast-growing company.• Experience with pre-IPO companies and have successfully taken a company public.• Has a proven track record of success in senior leadership roles driving revenue growth preferably in the financial, technology or manufacturing sector. Must have comprehensive solution and system selling experience and experience in alternative monetization business models.• Demonstrates solid strategic reasoning, analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate market insights into practical revenue-generating strategies.• Possesses excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, the ability to influence and collaborate effectively within all levels of the organization, and the demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively navigate ambiguity and complexity.• Has a strategic mindset focusing on innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering measurable results.• Strategic mindset with the capability to develop and execute revenue growth strategies aligned with company objectives.• Ability to lead client partners and manage a team through multiple programs/projects concurrently in a fast-paced and high-intensity work environment.• An entrepreneurial mind-set and true self-starter with strong critical thinking skills.• Firm grasp on reporting, analysis and budgeting.• Exceptional relationship and influencing skills along with highly developed presentation and delivery skills.• Demonstrated success in leading a team responsible for revenue generation in the form of closing corporate partnership agreements.• Application of superior prioritization and time-management skills.
