The Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting our growth initiatives.Responsibilities:• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.• Develop and manage budgets, track actual performance against budgets, and create financial forecasts.• Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and prepare tax returns.• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.• Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and regulations.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.• CPA certification preferred.• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the food industry.• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Meticulous attention to detail.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets, l and accounting software.Benefits:• Competitive salary and benefits package.• Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growing company.• Be part of a passionate team dedicated to creating delicious cookies.
