Our client is hiring for a Federal Solutions Specialist -An ideal candidate for this role would possess a blend of technical skills, personal traits, and relevant experience.Email - jrowell@apexsystems.com if interestedLocation - Hampton, VA (100% on site)Required:DoD Secret Clearance (we are not able to sponsor at this time)Technical Skillsets:\tInfrastructure as Code (IaC):\t\t\tProficiency with tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar.\t\t\tCloud Services:\t\t\tDeep understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\t\tExperience with cloud-native services and hybrid cloud environments.\t\t\tSystem Administration:\t\t\tExpertise in managing Windows AD, DNS, Federation Services, Exchange/E-mail, MS SQL, and MS System Center.\t\t\tMonitoring and Management:\t\t\tFamiliarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions.\t\tAbility to monitor and manage IaaS and PaaS uptime.\t\t\tSecurity:\t\t\tKnowledge of industry best practices, STIGs, and vendor recommendations for secure implementations.\t\t\tNetworking:\t\t\tUnderstanding of network infrastructure, including configuration and layout of storage infrastructure.\t\t\tKubernetes:\t\t\tExperience with container orchestration and managing Kubernetes clusters.\t\tPersonal Traits:\tProblem-Solving:\t\t\tStrong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.\t\t\tAdaptability:\t\t\tAbility to adapt to new technologies and changing environments.\t\t\tCommunication:\t\t\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and collaboration.\t\t\tTeam Player:\t\t\tAbility to work collaboratively with team members and support IaaS Architects.\t\t\tCustomer Focus:\t\t\tCommitment to providing high-quality service and support to customers.\t\tExperience:\tRelevant Work Experience:\t\t\tSeveral years of experience in infrastructure provisioning, cloud services, and system administration.\t\t\tProject Management:\t\t\tExperience in project planning, implementation, and troubleshooting.\t\t\tOn-Call Support:\t\t\tExperience providing 24/7 on-call support, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 Help Desk support.\t\t\tDocumentation:\t\t\tProven ability to create and maintain detailed architectural designs, plans, and documentation.\t\tCertifications:\tAWS Certified Solutions Architect\tMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert\tCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)\tCompTIA Security+EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
