About the role: We are looking for an outgoing and thoughtful leader of the Human Resource function at our 60 employee manufacturing company located in Pewaukee, WI. This role will operate as the “HR of One” managing and being responsible for all aspects of the human capitol function. This role allows an individual to develop strong relationships with our employees and provide support to their development, as well as developing our people leaders in their roles. The role reports to the CFO and partners with the leadership team. A focus on both the compliance and the human aspect of human resources will be vital in this all-in-one role supporting our growing company.Responsibilities and Tasks:· Oversee and manage the human resource function, including compliance, safety and payroll functions.· Collaborate and partner with all employees, at every level inside the company, to support their development at the company. Make recommendations and suggestions to minimize liability while supporting the holistic employee.· Manage the recruitment and onboarding process, collaborating with internal clients and external resources if needed.· Identify and maintain a compensation program to ensure equitable and fair pay practices inside the company.· Oversee employee relations, harassment, terminations and other tasks related to our employees.· Manage and run the Open Enrollment process and benefits throughout the year.· Manage and administer the payroll process.· Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices and reviewing and identifying changes if needed to internal policies and handbooks.· Implement and drive HR initiatives to achieve goals as set by the company.· Maintain data integrity in any HR technology used.· Lead the safety team and associated initiatives within the company.· Participate in the strategic planning of the organization and lead the company in human capital planning.· Any other duties as assigned or requested that relate to the human capital of the company or goals.Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree in human resource or related field; alternatively; 10 years of relatable work experience in the field· PHR or SPHR preferred, or any pertinent certification showing proficiency in a HR related task· At least 5 years of experience in employee relations, benefits, recruiting, compensation, safety, compliance and performance management.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.· Demonstrated business maturity and integrity, especially when dealing with highly confidential information· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS technology, and general software that may be utilized by the company· Experience strategically planning for the success and growth of the human capitol functionJob Type: Full-timePay: $85,729.89 - $95,545.67 per yearBenefits:• 401(k)• 401(k) matching• Dental insurance• Employee assistance program• Flexible spending account• Health insurance• Life insurance• Paid time off• Referral program• Retirement plan• Vision insuranceSchedule:• 8 hour shift• Day shiftWork Location: In person
