The successful candidate will be the principal expert and strategist for the MENA Center, providing in-depth analysis, insights, and advice on the region's political, economic, and social dynamics. This role involves close collaboration with program leadership to design and implement initiatives that align with the company's mission and USG priorities. The Interim Senior Advisor will be responsible for thought leadership, representing the company at various events, and engaging in high-level discussions with key stakeholders. A significant part of the role is dedicated to research and writing, including the development of content for publication and the design of outreach strategies. Applicants must have an advanced degree in an internationally focused discipline, a minimum of 15 years' experience in policy and program leadership, and a proven track record of working with senior parties in the region. Strong knowledge of Libyan issues and previous experience living and working in the country are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in designing programs to advance peace and stability in conflict-affected areas, as well as the ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds are also required.
