Board Certified Psychiatrist Requirements:· Licensed to practice medicine (MD) in the state of Florida.· Graduation from an accredited college or university with a MD in psychiatric study, or health-related field· A minimum of one year in an inpatient setting, serving in administrative function preferred· BC/BE (Preferred)Board Certified Psychiatrist* Duties & Responsibilities*· Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.· Collaborate with physicians, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress.· Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained from patients, relatives, and other professionals.· Design individualized care plans, using a variety of treatments.· Examine or conduct laboratory or diagnostic tests on patients to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder.· Advise and inform guardians, relatives, and significant others of patients' conditions and treatmentJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:• Dental insurance• Health insurance• Life insurance• Paid time off• Vision insuranceSchedule:• 8 hour shiftEducation:• Doctorate (Preferred)License/Certification:• Medical License (Required)Work Location: In person
