Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant toa Senior Accountant join our team. This role is essential for supporting the month-end close process and providing accurate financial information for decision-making. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on improving processes.Key Responsibilities:• Assist with the monthly financial close process• Prepare and review journal entries with proper documentation• Complete general ledger reconciliations and analyses on schedule• Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules• Investigate and resolve financial statement variances• Implement improvements to the month-end close process• Adhere to internal control policies to ensure accurate financial reporting• Perform additional tasks as neededRequired Skills and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in accounting• 3+ years of accounting experience• Proficient in MS Excel• Experience with large ERP systems• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines• Committed to continuous improvement and process enhancement• Ability to manage and analyze large data sets effectivelyPreferred Skills and Experience:• Master’s degree in accounting• CPA certification preffered• Experience with Big 4 or similar firms• Background in publicly traded or multinational companies• Familiarity with multi-currency accounting and international standards
