Vice President OperationsThe VP of Operations will lead all divisions of the business for finished good management, production, delivery logistics, and other mostly internally facing systems with on-site and cloud based applications. The VP’s goal is to deliver an operations strategy that supports the most efficient production environment and empowers management and their teams to work with the highest efficiency with part manufacturing and delivery. This role works with leaders at all levels of the organization and manages a team of professionals who are accountable for operations and related needs.This VP position is responsible for overseeing all operations professionals in each region of the United States, including oversight of regional managers and operational efficiency metrics. This individual will work closely with members of the supply chain team. They will also participate in overall business planning and innovation and must understand the organization’s operational strengths and future capabilities.This individual will work closely with business leaders to find strategic opportunities that improve operational metrics and goals. The VP will then be responsible for ensuring the achievement of these performance targets and strategic initiatives by facilitating environments to meet operational goals at a divisional level that are consistent with the overall vision of the organization. This individual will also oversee budgets as they relate to core operations activity.Responsibilities:Establish operational strategy by collaborating with officers and senior management to set organizational vision.Build and lead an agile and responsive team responsible for maintaining stable operational and internal growth across the United States.Cultivate a team-oriented, problem-solving culture that strives to find value from each segment of the operational timeline.Set departmental goals for meeting scalability and growth needs of the company for quickly expanding customer needs.Developing and enforcing best strategies surrounding operational management and policies.Operational management and reporting support with the accounting teams for 10-Q and annual reports.Developing and maintaining operational practice documentation.Remain cognizant of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization.Qualifications:At least 10 years overall Operations management experience with proven success contributing to profitability by aligning the relationship between business and corporate levels.Minimum of 7 years of experience building and leading lean, high performance teams across multiple locations.Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Operations or a related field.Ability to gather requirements from multiple stakeholders and translate them into well-defined requirements.Experience managing ERP data with internally facing systems.Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
