The Role:
The National Account Administrator will support the National Accounts team by providing analytical support, sales insights, and business solutions for their assigned accounts. This position will lead the effort to review and translate shopper and retail data (internal, customer POS, & syndicated) into actionable strategy and tactics. This position will also leverage insights to focus on improving product assortment, placement, and promotions, as well as assist in the planning and forecasting process for key suppliers with core customers.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics and Insights: Performs analysis against the strategic priorities and goals for the National Accounts Team. Collaborate with Congo National Accounts Team and market-level leaders to align analysis efforts against National Accounts priorities and initiatives. Conducts descriptive and predictive analysis on velocity, price levels, promotional activities, and distribution for assigned customers; and persuasively communicates business insights to key stakeholders.
  • Report Development and Customer Communication: Leads the effort to report Congo business results in assigned retail accounts. Analyst will have ownership of customer dashboards, scorecards, and other structured communications of business results to stakeholders.
  • Sales Presentations: Combine analytics and foundational sales techniques to build a sales story and create high impact sales presentations. Will be expected to build supporting analytic visuals and engaging presentation flow.
  • Data Management: Maintain internal account and product alignment, segmentation, and data accuracy for assigned accounts.
  • Help prepare and attend corporate business reviews and build professional presentations
  • Assist in tracking national account continuous improvement projects and internal/external continuous improvement reporting
  • Assist with category and item sales reporting
  • Price file management and margin enhancement
  • Perform complex analyses to provide recommendations to the sales team based on different reports and data sources
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis as defined by the assigned account leaders
  • Assist with the monthly reporting in collaboration with Trade Finance and Business Insights Teams
  • Produce compelling fact-based presentations supporting Congo Brands’ sales team
  • Provide communication platforms for the sales team (monthly accounts sales meeting, email communication, and presenting to the wider team)
  • Perform ad hoc project management/support to support growth initiatives
  • Establish best practice reporting, and oversee report updates, both weekly and monthly
  • Create templates and executive summaries to track core Congo Brands initiatives

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • 3-5 years overall work experience within beverage alcohol and/or CPG industry
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in an analytical role within sales/marketing, finance, business strategy, or a related function required
  • Experience using AS400, SAP, and NetSuite platforms
  • Customer portal experience (Costco, Walmart,. Wawa, GS, Metro)
  • Systems expertise required, ability to manipulate large data sets
  • Ability to generate high quality marketing, sales, and/or financial analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to persuasively communicate business insights to key stakeholders; includes excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, and to lead projects by collaborating with partners across the organization
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
