Primary duties include managing reports and payouts from vendors to identify lost incentives or discrepancies and working with vendors until resolution. The VL Lifecycle Specialist also tracks and monitors Deal Registrations to ensure advancement through the portal to achieve maximum incentive payouts. The VL Lifecycle Specialist participates in vendor-focused training activities to promote the following business efforts: increasing the knowledge base of Microsoft licensing programs and incentives, enhancing and maintaining strategic vendor relationships, and acting as the central point of contact for Sales, Licensing Sales Specialists, Finance and Microsoft regarding incentive and fee payments.ResponsibilitiesManages Cisco Incentives and CHIP Reporting from Microsoft• Pull data and modify the format.• Validate incentive payouts.• Identify discrepancies or missing incentives.• Works with the vendor through to resolution.Tracks and monitors PSX deals through the deal registration process:• Ensure deal advancement through the portal occurs in a timely and accurate manner.• Submit cases to Microsoft for escalation when necessary.• Maintain the PSX deal registration report and put it into a usable format for sales and management to use in forecasting.Creates various reports to fill requests for Licensing Operations, Product Management, Licensing Sales Support, and Sales Management• Manage and update SAB Activations.• Provide reporting for on-time true-up and renewal cases and logs.• Create pipeline reports and track closure rates.• Follow through with sales and support teams as necessary to close business and meet deadlines set by Microsoft.Develops and maintains key vendor and internal team relationships• Work closely with Product Managers to stay in alignment with company goals.• Keep abreast of vendor-specific program and product changes, along with vendor tool updates that may affect incentive payout.• Develop processes designed to create efficiencies that will support Sales & Product Management initiatives.Requirements• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create pivot tables and charts.• Strong business and financial analysis skills with the ability to create pipeline and forecast reporting.• Analytical with the ability to draw conclusions from data, systematic and rational.• Detail-oriented with item-by-item focus, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to proofread for accuracy.• Organized state of mind with the ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules, and monitor performance.• Independent with the ability to self-motivate.• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes with vendors.• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.• Exceptional work ethic with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Because of the possibility for fraudulent job postings on many popular job boards, please be advised that Connection will never offer a position of employment without a complete interview process and communication with a “live person".MinUSD $46,350.00/Yr.MaxUSD $57,938.00/Yr.
