Who are we looking for?

GHD's Construction group has several openings for Entry- Level Laborers to complete general construction tasks associated with environmental remediation. As a Laborer, you’ll be expected to use your experience and judgment to make decisions within your limit of authority! In this role you will provide safe Labor support and Small/ Medium Equipment Operation to ensure GHD Services is able to provide the highest level of quality service and product to all clients.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Provides a variety of physical labor with hand tools, power tools, etc.
• Safely operate small equipment and powered hand tools.
• Safely operate and maintain all types of small equipment including chain saws
• Conducts daily maintenance checks of all operated equipment and vehicles
• Assists Superintendent and foreperson in ensuring that the final product is of the upmost and highest possible quality, both structurally and aesthetically.
• Completes all required quarterly and yearly Safety Reporting Forms

What you will bring to the team:

• Ability to effectively perform manual labor
• Must be able to take direction from others and be a teammate
• Able to perform physical labor in project conditions requiring respirators, Tyveks, and or other safety gear
• Has up to 2 years in a construction environment or experience of a Level A Laborer
• General knowledge and ability to operate/maintain small equipment to included gas/electric pumps, generators, cut‐off saw, compactor
