Construction Quality Control Manager

QC Manager Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement QC / QA Program - Three Phases of Quality Control
• Ensure Specs are being met with Submittals
• Orchestrate the Pre-Installation Meetings
• Manage the Pour Card Sign Off process- Concrete and Trade sign Offs
• Manage the Wall and Ceiling Sign-Off/ close-in Process
• Manage and track the Trade Inspections (DALT, Hydro Tests for sprinkler, plumbing and mechanical, Building Envelope, etc...)
• Manage the Third Party Special inspections / process -- (Concrete break reports, Compaction, Steel Inspections, Precast connection reports, Fire Proofing, etc...)
• Review and formulate responses to NNC's, and coordinate path-forwards with Subcontractors and Owner Representatives.
• Attend Weekly OAC site walks and meetings and provide QC Updates.
• Attend Tuesday Foreman's Meeting
• Periodic Job Inspections
• Review and respond to Design Professional observation reports

Ensure specs and details are being met with installation procedures.

• Manage and maintain testing and inspection schedule and log.
• Maintain testing and inspection reports and records (on-site and off-site), including required manufacturer reports (on site and off-site) as required by the specifications.
• Schedule and Manage Design Professional inspections.
• Implement and Manage Punch list process.
• Review and formulate responses to Special Inspection deviation reports and Owner QA/QC reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $126,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Savannah, GA 31402: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Quality Control: 4 years (Preferred)
