Position Summary:

Project Safety Manager shall establish and maintain The Coordinated Life Safety Assurance Program (CLASP) and ICRA requirements for Health System and University construction projects; enforcing compliance with government regulations and institutional policies to ensure all project sites are operating safely and within established parameters. This work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Executive for Facilities Design + Construction. Work requires a general level of business education and Construction.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years progressively responsible experience in a related field; functional knowledge of construction/equipment means and methods and a thorough understanding of safety programs for construction projects, preferably in a healthcare facility.
Experience may be substituted for the degree on 2 years of experience for 1 year of education basis demonstrating progressively responsible experience in a related field; functional knowledge of construction/equipment means and methods and a thorough understanding of safety programs for construction projects, preferably in a healthcare facility.

Work Experience:

Four years inspecting and demonstrating the compliance and acceptance of hospital safety procedures on construction and renovation projects.
Four years of work experience and proof of attending the 10 hour OSHA course.

Shift:

Full Time, Day Shift (40 hours)

7:00 am - 4:00 pm
