The Role

There are three core pillars to the FutureOn Consultant role:

  • Working alongside the sales and partner management teams in presales capacity to identify and position the FutureOn products, services and system integration opportunities. Mapping business challenges and need to product functionality.
  • Leading early determination of system integration needs & scope and acting as a consistent technology thought leader throughout the customer adoption, onboarding and integration of existing customer datasets and tools.
  • Acting either as an expert consultant or as part of a project team delivering services in a value-added professional services capacity.

We partner with our clients using our industry-leading software to deliver a complete visualization platform that unlocks value through increased efficiency, improved safety, reduced costs, risk mitigation, lower emissions and increased uptime.


Duties

  • Work closely with Sales to support our lead qualification process
  • Own the customer discovery phase to determine customer needs and challenges
  • Work with Sales and Customer Success to define solution scope with respect to services and integration requirements
  • Demonstrate & present FieldTwin products and modules to customers, industry forums and events
  • Lead and manage trials and proof of concepts from definition to completion
  • Contribute to the sales proposal and tender process
  • Act as a regional expert of FutureOn products and the energy sector both in region and global, as required
  • Work with the Customer Success, Support and Operations teams to seamlessly manage the customer needs throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Maintain relationships with customers and partners and support Customer & Partner Success to drive retention and satisfaction
  • Build relationships within existing and prospective customers and partners
  • Collaborate with FutureOn partners to define optimal solutions to meet our customers' challenge/s
  • Participate in initiatives to evolve and strengthen Professional Services in the [insert relevant regions] region
  • Capture and contribute to Services best practise, share customer experience and feedback and lessons learned
  • Act as a consulting resource in the delivery of services – training, expert consulting, and integrations
  • Participate and represent FutureOn within the customers digital transformation programmes e.g. digital working groups
  • Work closely with Product management to:
    • ensure accurate presentation of the product and roadmap to FutureOn customers
    • provide regional insights into key customer challenges for Product & Integration roadmap planning
    • Capture ideas and feature requests for internal evaluation and review

Your Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Problem solving mindset
  • Creative & critical thinker with the ability to also think conceptually and practically
  • Digitally proficient
  • Thrives in a small team, with the skillset and capabilities to work autonomously and proactively whilst being managed from a different time-zone
  • Comfortable with travelling frequently (notwithstanding any Covid-restrictions in place)

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years experience in subsea oil & gas & new energy [desirable]
  • Solid experience working collaboratively both in pre and post sales
  • Experience working with or in an Upstream EPCi, Engineering consultancy or similar
  • Bachelors in Engineering or similar
