The consultant will be responsible for leading a team of data integration specialists in delivering data integration initiatives for our client. This will include being the face to the client, acting as the bridge between the client and the Fresh Gravity delivery team, working on requirements, data analysis, translating functional requirements into technical and overall leading the team for successful delivery of the project.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements; Document requirements and business processes
• Conducting workshops with client business and IT stakeholders to discover data and data integration related requirements
• Map business entities and processes to data
• Work with client business and functional teams to understand the structure and definition of data
• Define and document data glossary/dictionary.
• Perform data analysis and map data between systems that need to be integrated via SnapLogic
• Drive and participate in test planning, integration testing, and drive UAT
• Define strategies for data integration processes by developing data definitions, developing a standard that all team members use, looking for areas with optimization potential, integrating the most effective tools, and setting deadlines.
• Deliver data integration through the implementation of shared databases, modification, and optimization of current systems, managing the exchange and storing of data, and making recommendations when upgrades or changes are needed to maintain smooth operations.
• Make improvements to the integration process by proposing and assessing new formats for data interchange, rewriting team expectations and procedures as needed, and improving the physical design.
• Work with team to build SnapLogic pipelines using existing snap packs and reusing existing client code where possible.
• Troubleshoot and help share technical knowledge with the extended development team.
• Adhere to processes and ensure the usage of design templates, tools, frameworks and accelerators for integration design and development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of data structures, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, integration patterns will be great to have
• Must have hands-on experience in working with SQL
• Knowledge of SnapLogic will be great to have
• In-depth knowledge of data concepts
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and drive a team to achieve the desired goal. Ability to work seamlessly with teams across geographies.
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills / technologies quickly and independently.
• Ability to work as part of a team and be able to work as an individual contributor directly with the client.
• Candidate should be willing to travel on business as needed.
