The Role
Our Content Marketing team at Wpromote is looking to add a Content Marketing Manager to plan, develop and measure clients’ content strategies. Reporting into the Director of Content Marketing, you will be partnering with clients to both develop high-quality, engaging content and drive success for core business objectives through innovative, thoughtful content-centric tactics. You will collaborate with internal team members in both the paid and organic media space along with navigating the role data plays with creative.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $60,000 - $75,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).

Managing a book of business of 4-8 clients spanning all industries and business types

Collaborating with other channel leads across SEO, Paid Media, Affiliate Marketing and Influencer Marketing in order to develop holistic, cross-channel campaigns that leverage content

Conducting keyword research, competitive research, and content ideation for your clients

Assessing the performance of existing content, identifying content gaps and improving or optimizing existing content

Managing a monthly content calendar for each clients inclusive of content briefs, KPIs and amplification strategy

Collaborating with content creators, designers, writers & editors to produce content

Reporting on campaign performance based on a variety of data from sources including but not limited to: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Brandwatch, Adobe Analytics, and SEMrush

2-3 years of experience with Content Marketing within an agency or in-house environment

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

General knowledge of digital marketing (i.e. Paid Search, Social Media, Email, and SEO) and key platforms and trends (i.e. desktop, mobile, video).

A proven track record of successful project management and the ability to juggle multiple timelines and clients

Proficient in editing and proofreading content with the ability to provide constructive feedback

Stellar client-facing experience particularly in creating presentations, crafting data-driven insights and maintaining professional communication

Foundational knowledge of SEO basics & best practices

Experience with Google Analytics, G Suite, SEMRush, Adobe Analytics, MS Office, Asana, and Google Apps would be a plus
