As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for owning the ideation, strategy, execution, and tracking of one email per week to our most sophisticated and engaged base. The ideal candidate should have financial knowledge and writing experience with the ability to craft crisp, concise consumer-facing copy that drives deep funnel engagement with our products. In addition, you will work hand-in-hand with the Director of Engagement to strategize and coordinate Securitize’s engagement efforts, continually monitor and analyze the Securitize customer base, and create and execute engagement initiatives, including reward and referral programs and segmented, personalized sales outreach.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Engagement and other team members to strategize, coordinate, and improve Securitize’s engagement efforts using a data-driven approach.
  • Craft crisp, concise consumer-facing copy that drives deep funnel engagement with our products, collaborating with the design team to create visually appealing emails.
  • Create, develop, and manage email marketing campaigns that align with the company's objectives, while tracking and analyzing email performance metrics using email marketing tools.
  • Write, edit, and optimize engaging email content targeted to the financial industry, considering SEO and Google Analytics to ensure it reaches the intended audience.
  • Collaborate with design to produce high-quality email content, ensuring that it is error-free and meets the company's messaging and branding standards.
  • Develop and implement effective content marketing strategies that align with the company's objectives, setting short-term goals and key performance indicators to measure success.
  • Manage the editorial calendar, delegate tasks, and ensure that deadlines are met while delivering engaging email content on a regular basis and inspiring team members to do the same.
  • Analyze web traffic metrics to determine the effectiveness of email campaigns, identify opportunities for improvement, and share email content through various channels to ensure a strong web presence.
  • Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement, improve email content, and achieve business targets.
  • Proactively self-manage a heavy workload in a busy, often-changing environment, with previous experience using Hubspot, Marketo, or similar marketing tools.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of content writing experience within the finance industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Economics is highly preferred.
  • Creative, out of the box thinker
  • Must be able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing best practices and industry trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with email marketing tools such as Hubspot or Marketo.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
