At Branch, we're transforming how brands and users interact across digital platforms. Our mobile marketing and deep linking solutions are trusted to deliver seamless experiences that increase ROI, decrease wasted spend, and eliminate siloed attribution. Our team consists of smart, humble, and collaborative people who value ownership over all we do to create a product, team, and company that lives and breathes our motto: Build Together, Grow Together, Win Together.
Branch content is educational, persuasive, inspirational, often highly technical, and regularly cited by the most influential leaders in mobile. Content is the voice we use to speak to the outside world, and it isn't just an output of the marketing team; everyone in the organization contributes, from our CEO (one of our most prolific writers!) to the rest of our employees within our organization.
The impact shows up throughout our company:
- Industry reputation. Many of the top brands in mobile look to our content for education and guidance, and customers regularly cite it as the highest-quality and most helpful material they receive from any partner in their marketing stack.
- Sales pipeline. Content is one of the most effective tools at Branch for generating sales pipeline (as measured by our in-house, multi-touch attribution model), and has been for years.
- Sales support at every stage. Pipeline is just the beginning; content also plays a key role at every other step of the sales process, from segmented email nurture campaigns to insightful case studies and in-depth white papers.
We're looking for an experienced content writer and copy editor to create outstanding content pieces with a focus on SEO and own the content status sheet and some content board processes. You'll be closely aligned with product marketing and marcom (this role reports to the Head of Communications) and diverse stakeholders across every department at Branch.
If you'd like to get an idea of what you'll help create in this role, here are a few selected examples of top Branch content:
- The Mobile Growth Handbook. Our largest piece of downloadable content, produced annually each spring.
- SKAdNetwork 4.0 is out — What Happens Now? An example of a typical Branch technical blog that tops the search results on Google.
- Attribution After iOS 14.5: What Does the Data Tell Us About Why the Apocalypse is So Quiet? An industry thought-leadership piece full of data examples and explanations of metrics related to the release of iOS 14.5 and AppTrackingTransparency.
- How to Market with Mobile During a Downturn. Blog post that was written as a recap of a popular webinar.
- Going Behind The Scenes On CAID, The Chinese IDFA Workaround Causing Such A Headache For Apple. A guest article written by Branch that topped the charts at AdExchanger the week it was published.
- Mobile Growth News. Our biweekly-ish industry newsletter that consistently receives rave reviews as a rare example of a vendor writing as an analyst (note: this newsletter is intentionally positioned under our Mobile Growth community, which is a separate but wholly-managed Branch brand).
As a Content Marketing Manager, you'll get to:
- Research and write quality, persona-based content, which could include blogs, white papers, guides, case studies, and glossary items, that educates and persuades stakeholders at major household brands around the world.
- Copyedit content written by various team members, including sales, product management, product marketing, developers, and senior leadership.
- Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other tools to measure how content is performing and make updates to strategy based on this data.
- Refresh and optimize older content to ensure it continues performing well in organic search.
- Help define the future of content marketing at Branch, including evaluation of processes and formats.
- Interact with thought leaders and influencers across the mobile ecosystem.
You'll be a good fit if you have:

- Excellent writing ability (fast, accurate, and high-quality output).
- Impeccable attention to detail, including excellent grammar and copyediting skills.
- Technical capacity to use and understand Branch's products (they're relatively user-friendly for marketers but you'll be writing about them often and in depth).
- Comfort working with data, both writing about it and using it demonstrate the impact of content.
- A very organized approach to project management, able to build, maintain, and improve internal processes that others will follow.
- Experience working closely with a design team.
