The Marketing team at Yext is looking for a content marketing specialist to help drive the creation and delivery of high-impact content across all channels. In this role, you will assist with the management of the content plan and roadmap for campaigns and projects. You will collaborate closely with other content marketers, the editorial team, demand generation, regional marketing, brand, and product marketing teams to define and deliver customer-centric messaging and content aligned to audience journeys for various targeted personas. You will program manage the content plan including assignment of content creators, content production, creative execution, and localization strategies to meet our campaign objectives. This role may also write various short-form content deliverables.

This role requires critical thinking, customer-centric approaches, deep understanding of Yext products, and storytelling foresight. Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration skills to influence teams across a highly-matrixed organization are a must.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead project management efforts for the end-to-end production of all types of content and collateral across editorial platforms, including pdfs, decks, webpages, publications, blog posts, event/webinar presentations, sponsored content, video, etc to make sure execution of content is delivered on time and within budget and scope
  • Assist content marketers, campaign managers, and product marketers to build persona-based buyer's journeys for various targeted personas. Ensure that all content anticipates customer needs and delivers the right messages to encourage customers to take the next action in the journey.
  • Coordinate work with the web and creative studios teams to conceptualize, develop, and implement content
  • Manage the content program and repository to ensure ease of access and maximum use of materials by the company
  • Measure and track the types of content that are being consumed and use those insights to drive future content planning decisions

What You'll Have

  • 2+ years of work experience in marketing, product marketing, or content/brand marketing, ideally working for a technology company or agency
  • Experience working with various digital storytelling formats and can demonstrate the ability to take complex topics and communicate them optimally
  • Outstanding editing, proofreading, storytelling, and brainstorming skills
  • Stellar research skills and ability to familiarize yourself with new topics and industries quickly.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, escalate roadblocks, and exercise independent and sound judgment as well as working within team workflows
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail; a highly organized person
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite products
  • Proficiency with Project Management tools (ie. Asana) is a plus

The base salary at the time of hire for this position is expected to be between $85,050 - $141,500. Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee's job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
