Content Project Manager

Position Overview

EBSCO Learning is looking for a Content Project Manager to join our content development team full-time. The position is fully remote, with some travel to New York/Boston possibly required from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities

• Works closely with the content team and other stakeholders and leadership within the organization.
• Provides eLearning market research.
• Develops Statements of Work (SOWs) for projects, and finds, onboards, and trains appropriate contractors/freelancers.
• Works with writers/subject matter experts and guides them in creating superb content.
• Edits manuscripts, storyboards, audio and video scripts.
• Creates new resources and interactivity.
• Beginning-to-end project management of the development of resources for multiple eLearning platforms, from researching and writing project scope, budgeting, through onboarding and training freelance writers/developers, overseeing the content development, review and editing, finalizing art/multimedia, and assuring correct instructional design; to assisting the production department in the publishing process as needed, and paying vendors, while maintaining a sound tracking system of the development schedule and budget.
• Tracks all projects in Rally or similar project management tool and addresses assigned tickets as needed.
• Researches and develops practice tests reflecting the format and content ratios of official tests (e.g., SAT, ACT, GED, TOEFL, LSAT, etc.).
• Assures resources feature appropriate metadata.
• Works closely with IT, UI/UX and accessibility experts to help keep content up to date with the changing interface and new features.
• Assures accessibility of all content.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time experience developing/editing/producing educational test-preparation content.
• Project management experience with great written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent English language skills, copy-editing and proofreading experience.
• Must be able to present samples of content developed.
• Experience with remote collaboration across teams.
• Fluent in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

• eLearning/ EdTech/ educational publishing experience.
• Assessments design and development.
• Metadata tagging experience.
• Graphic/UI/UX design experience.
• Instructional/Learning/eLearning design experience.
• Authoring software (e.g., Articulate360, Adobe Captivate).
• Video/Audio production .
• Experience with Math/STEM content or a related background.
• Preferred educational background in Education, English, Media, Journalism, Learning Design, or similar
• Spanish speaker
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.0
• Blogging experience
• CMS experience
• Basic coding
• Existing SME/writers contacts roster

Target Annual Compensation Range: $78,475 - $112,110. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
