We are a talented and diverse group looking for a candidate who is passionate about cinema and Dolby’s advances in theatrical technology. This role is for someone to collaboratively work directly with the Content and Industry Relations teams along with other internal Dolby team members and external film production, distribution and promotional partners. The Content Relations Manager will be an integral part of the Content Relations team and will ensure that the group’s operational needs are handled efficiently and effectively. This role requires a deep knowledge of the theatrical film industry as well as post-production operations. We are looking for a high integrity, low ego candidate who can develop an understanding of the company’s business, strategies, processes, and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Operations: You will work closely with Dolby Cinema operations in support of global projector deployments. Track Dolby Vision Projector lease agreement terms and work with Sales Operations team on billing. Update Dolby Cinema and Dolby Atmos Global Site List.
• Data Analytics: Create weekly box office reports that highlight Atmos/Vision releases.
• Planning: Update title marketing budget and ROI data.
• Modeling: Project box office for upcoming Dolby Cinema releases.
• Presentations: Prepare weekly industry news for senior management and build weekly opening weekend Dolby Cinema box office snapshots.
• Tracking: Track cumulative global Dolby Cinema box office. Review list of titles mixed in Dolby Atmos or graded in Dolby Vision and update projected Dolby Cinema release slate. Support the management of content tracking systems, including recording of Atmos & Vision titles and international versioning/localisation, and third-party demo content. Support the preparation of regular reports on global Atmos & Vision content.
• Strategic: Support the preparation of presentations to support strategic content initiatives.
• Production: Schedule, plan, and execute remote and virtual recording crews for on-camera talent interviews.
  

Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. degree and 5-10 years of overall direct experience in studio or post-production operations. MBA preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of post-production / studio operations and understanding of theatrical distribution market
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
• Extremely high work quality and precision – able to resolve time sensitive issues with a high degree of precision and exhibit strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Flexible mindset, willingness to do hands-on work, and ability to define a vision for the function
• Self-starter who will continuously look for opportunities to improve processes
• Builds constructive and effective relationships throughout the organization and understands how to work collaboratively across business units
• Ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to manage a fast-paced work environment and growing Content Relations’ operational needs

The Southern California base salary range for this full-time position is $141-173K plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
