Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) with expertise in Angular and Java (Spring Boot) to work within Continental’s eCommerce, Fleet Solutions, and Data Science Information Technology Competence Center. In this role, you will join the global team working on Cesar, our digital fleet management platform.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Shaping the frontend and backend architecture of the CESAR web application;
  • Implementing features through active collaboration with business partners;
  • Providing support of the productive system by solving bugs; 
  • Driving development standards, code reuse, and agile principles within the agile development team;
  • Enhancing the technical documentation and our test scenarios. 

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field;
  • + 2 years of professional experience in full-stack development with Angular (12+) and Java (11+) with Spring Boot;
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3;
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs and WebSockets;
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL);
  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus;
  • Proficiency in Git, CI/CD tools and agile methodologies (Scrum);
  • Willingness to travel (up to 10%, incl. business);
  • Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English;
  • Good organizational skills.
