Job Description

As the Global Marketing Performance Manager you will globally drive the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing activities through data-driven decision-making and performance optimization while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align marketing activities with business goals.

These are the tasks in more detail:

  • Performance Measurement: Establishing a robust KPI framework for all marketing activities, monitoring performance, and reporting results to various stakeholders. Continuously evaluating and revising KPIs to align with shifting business and marketing objectives. Evaluating pilot programs that enhance performance and efficiency, tracking pilot performance and providing data-backed recommendations for scaling.
  • Benchmarking and Recommendation: Setting benchmarks for performance, highlighting underperforming areas, pinpointing operational inefficiencies, and uncovering opportunities for enhancing marketing activities.
  • Budget Performance: Assessing the financial performance of marketing investments, including analyzing budgets, expenditures, and the overall ROI. Conducting cost-benefit analyses of marketing activities and providing short- and long-term investment recommendations.
  • Predictive Modeling and Forecasting: Leveraging data, using forecasting insights to support long-term marketing planning, and maximizing impact of future marketing efforts. Delivering regular forecast reports to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in marketing, computer science, or an equivalent qualification
  • Min 7 years of experience in marketing strategy, analytics and digital marketing, in several functional areas and in a global matrix organization
  • Experience working within a market, while collaborating with different locations/ central functions
  • Experience in interacting with all levels of the organization, incl. Executive level
  • Strong business process understanding
  • Project management skills
  • Analytical mindset/ ROI minded
  • Experience in internal education benefical
  • Professional working proficiency in English, no other language required 
  • Open to travel up to 20%, incl. business trips abroad

Additional Information

You will be part of the Global Marketing team for Continental Tires. You will report to the Head of Global Brand, Marketing Communications and Partnerships. The role is posted as located in Madrid (Spain), but other countries could be considered.
