Contracting Specialist- Birmingham (HYBRID)

The Specialist position works under the general direction of more experienced Specialist and Senior Specialist. Generally, relies on moderate experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of assignments requiring a modest degree of independence.
The objectives of the Specialist position are process moderately complex business processes including: BGA and Sub-BGA contracts, utilizing electronic processes including EAppoint and Pangea and manage compliance related issues. The Specialist position may also process contact changes including contract upgrades and downgrades as well as handle research tasks and error resolution. The Specialist will also provide customer service to Agent offices, Protective field personal, internal customer and external customers.

Functions

    • Processes Appointments and State License
    • Update Agent State and Product Training
    • Manage the customers needs by processing faxes, email and answering phone calls
    • Processes Contract changes
    • Error resolution
    • Other jobs duties as assigned

Work Experience, Education, Certification / Training Required:

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
    • Experience with Window based PC applications.
    • High School Diploma
    • Previous Customer Service Experience a plus
    • Knowledge of Agent Contracting/ State & Product Training
    • Working knowledge of the Dream administrative system

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    • Ability to work independently while working within a team environment
    • Ability to prioritize assignments
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Good organizational skills
    • Excellent oral and written skills, ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences
$40,766 - $45,000 a year
