Job Title: Contracts Analyst
Position Summary:
The Contracts Analyst is accountable for reviewing purchase contracts and documents, supporting the procurement process, enforcing Fortinet procurement policies and providing a check and balance. This includes, but is not limited to procedural development projects, reviewing and negotiating contract terms, managing vendor relationships, and reducing costs with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures, including procedural and system enhancements for an efficient / effective workflow.
- Coordinate with the cross-functional teams in the development and execution of all aspects of an integrated procurement process.
- Analyze data reports for internal auditing and policy enforcement.
- Ensure proper documentation for vendor management.
- Create and/ or prepare PowerPoint presentations, training materials, and act as a subject matter expert for Fortinet employees on the procurement and related processes.
- Manage negotiations of vendor terms and conditions (e.g. Master Services Agreements, SOWs, PO terms and conditions)
- Manages the review, drafting and negotiation of vendor terms and conditions for a variety of purchasing contracts (e.g.: master services agreements, SOWs, service providers, marketing agreements, IT agreements, licensing, including SaaS and Cloud other procurement related agreements)
Requirements:
- Desire to gain project management, purchasing and process development experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
- Independent thinker, self-starter with passion about procurement/purchasing
- Demonstrated project and time management skills for juggling many changing priorities and working under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of contracts and P2P processes
- Solid computer skills, including MS Excel etc
- Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
- Experience with contract management systems and Oracle is a plus.
- Ability to organize & prioritize, multitask, and perform accurately, efficiently and effectively in a high-paced work environment. Must have strong time management skills.
- Ability to successfully employ interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships and customer service with internal and external stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, business administration or an equivalent education and three years of related experience. Legal experience is a plus.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the technology/computer industry, preferably cybersecurity.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $30 - $40 per hour. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
