The Contract Sections I and II is seeking candidates to apply for a Staff Services Analyst (SSA) /Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) positions in the Contract Services Groups. Working as an analyst, you'll be part of a diverse and passionate team helping our fellow Californians get back to work. You'll utilize your problem-solving skills for creative solutions in the workforce system. You'll provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Under the supervision of the Contracts Special Projects Unit Manager, the SSA/AGPA is responsible for developing and preparing a diverse workload of contractual agreements ranging from routine to the moderately technical and complex, including emergency contracts related to the department's continuing response during the COVID pandemic. Ensures contracts and procurements are in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, procedures, and department guidelines. The incumbent performs duties relating to contracts related special projects including but not limited to, business process improvement and documentation; policy and procure development, training development and facilitation, and change management efforts.

This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
