The candidate will be one of the core drivers of legal operations and ensuring the legal department both manages tasks effectively, but also engages and helps to push forward the strategic vision of both legal and company strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assist with drafting and managing contracts, forms, letters and other legal documents ranging in complexity.
Review non-disclosure agreements for compliance with Company requirements.
Participate in the preparation of services and license agreements.
Participate in the preparation of addenda and amendments to service agreements.
Review supplier agreements for compliance with Company requirements.
Prepare draft language to address deficiencies in supplier agreements.
Update and maintain legal templates.
Oversee the administration of internal contract management software
Manage document collections responsive to third party subpoenas and for production in litigation.
Develop, maintain, monitor, and track internal legal processes and databases.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of all pending and threatened litigation.
Prioritize and act as a face to the company for the legal department on all requests that come to the legal department
Assist in monitoring, applying for, and maintaining Lendio’s licenses.
Maintain an excellent working relationship with internal and external clients.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement changes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years in-house as a paralegal or contract manager.
Solid understanding of standard legal terminology
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and G Suite
Familiarity with contract management software
